The world's longest underwater road and rail tunnel.

The Fehmarnbelt tunnel will provide a shorter and faster conncection between Scandinavia and Central Europe. Ramboll is client’s consultant for the project, which is a study in innovative thinking as it challenges existing tunnel building standards.

The world's longest tunnel meets the World Tunnel Congress

In the future Scandinavia and the rest of Europe will be connected by the world's longest road and rail tunnel. Kim Smedegaard Andersen from Fehmerns A/S will present safety aspects and risk based approach of the project on the 25th of April at the WTC 2018.  Our colleague Susanne Kalmar Pedersen will be in Dubai and sharing her experience as Ramboll’s Project Director for Fehmarn.
