Energy strategies
We have worked in urban heat planning, developing parallel district heating, cooling and natural gas networks for 30 years. We design and deliver least-cost solutions, such as zoning districts for each energy form (district heating/cooling, block heating/cooling, individual natural gas or individual heat pumps). Our market-oriented approach can include strategies for rehabilitation and reconstruction of worn-out facilities as well as advice on tariff reform, as needed.
Our work with renewable energy strategies focuses on general mechanisms to promote renewable energy, demonstration projects and information campaigns.
We also create strategies to develop the heating and power sectors in a least-cost way for both national agencies and large utilities.
CHP and district heating strategies cover heating and cooling infrastructure as well as heat production options.
Mainly at national level, the energy efficiency strategies we can provide focus on mechanisms to promote energy efficiency, financial incentives, and other ways to overcome barriers to efficiency.
