Since its inception, St. Theresa College’s main aim is dedicated to the upliftment of girls and women from underprivileged and marginalised communities. The college is the first women’s institution to offer bachelor degree courses in English, maths, commerce, computer application and management.
The computer laboratory, funded by Ramboll, is equipped with more than 100 computers with the latest technology along with all the peripherals and internet facilities together with a library which provide a place for the 900 female studies to learn and practice computer and information technology-related education.
Richard Beard, Managing Director Middle East and Asia stated: “We are proud to have been able to contribute to the development of the computer laboratory and library. The provision of such facilities will I am sure provide better education and future opportunities for the students of the college.”
Shivangi Mishra, Senior Communications Consultant, represented Ramboll at the inauguration in Taragambadi where the staff and management at St. Theresa College expressed gratitude towards Ramboll and the Embassy of Denmark whose collective efforts led to the successful implementation of the project.
