Ramboll Group secures revenue of AED 3.7 billion despite global economic downturn

Ramboll Group delivered a resilient financial performance in 2009 reflecting that the company has successfully adapted to the prevailing market conditions. The group secured its revenue at DKK 5.5 billion (AED 3.7 billion) and achieved a profit before tax of DKK 213 million (AED 142 million) despite significant non-recurring costs. The company is net debt free with a committed credit facility exceeding DKK 1 billion (AED 667 million) for future expansion and holds an order book of DKK 2.4 billion (AED 1.6 billion). Thus, Ramboll is well prepared to pursue its strategy for growth.

Ramboll facade expert presents findings of research into fluid curved facade design

Ramboll presented findings into innovative façade design at the Façade Engineering and Design Conference in Dubai 7-10 February 2010. The talk, entitled "Creating affordable complex geometry facades with unitized cold bent system" focused on a technique known as 'cold bending', which provides a cost-efficient way to clad complex and geometrically twisted buildings.
